Our Photographers Marc Alexander My interest in photography started about 15 years ago as an appreciation for the great landscape work of Ansel Adams and portraits of Annie Lebowitz. As an engineer, I studied the technical aspects of photography and had the opportunity to travel the US for two years to develop an intimate understanding of the artistic and technical aspects that create a timeless photograph. Being a photographer is very rewarding to me. It's extremely gratifying to finish a day's work and have created a lifetime of memories. If you have a special occasion or want portraits of a loved one, I would be honored to accept the responsibility for making those images something you will cherish for generations to come. Israel Castillo Born and raised in San Diego, CA. My interest in photography was sparked at an early age. Out of high school I attended Jr. College and took a couple of basic black and white photography classes. I loved the process of taking pictures, developing film, and the magic of printing. Now, I’m currently enrolled at Brook Institute of Photography in Ventura, CA, studying Visual Journalism. I graduate in April of 2006, and look forward to entering the exciting world as a visual journalist. Photography gives me the opportunity to share how I view the world. It allows me to use the elements of light and composition to produce an image that can create emotions, whether joy or anger. Being a photojournalist allows me to use the powerful tool, the camera, and enter lives of people for a brief moment and tell visual stories. I have the personality to fit into any situation and the discipline to work well with others or alone. Being a photographer is very rewarding to me. It’s extremely gratifying to finish a story, a wedding or a project that creates a lifetime of memories.
